I heard that some yogis celebrate their birthday by doing as many drop-back backbends as they are years old. I decided to try that this year, but unfortunately did it after I did a hard Tiger Practice that included 108 Sun Salutations! So, after the first couple of drop-backs I realized my quads were going to give out if I kept going. Instead of quitting, I decided to change the tradition to doing all kinds of backbend poses.
Here I am celebrating my 44th birthday!
